I am considering the S/H purchase of this lens due to good reports, however can anyone confirm that both versions of this lens have no conflict with the EOS 30 unlike Sigma's well publicised chip problems, especially with my old Sigma which I have managed to now sell Also what is the difference between the older and newer version of this lens and how can I tell them apart.
