You are right and wrong.
You are right about the two camera shops, wrong about Wal*Mart. Take
any camera that they sell and ask the clerk to send it away for
repairs. Let us know what their response is.
The other point is that Canon's records are about two or three years out
of date. The area code that they gave me for both stores was changed
about two or three years ago.
Why didn't I get the names of Canon repair shops, either Canon owned or
Canon approved?
I don't think they met their obligation.
