Hi folks
several month ago, I got a used Eos3. It was really new to see and still in
warranty (31 May 01).
I made a lot of rolls since then getting quite good results.
Yesterday I noticed a funny thing: the AF seems to focus on a slightly wrong
focal plane. If I set manually to the correct focus and press the release
button the camera moves the lens out of focus and then blinks red the
squares and green the confirmation light in the viewfinder. I've never
noticed this and probably my DOF was always enough not to show this problem
on the slides.

I've tried in different modes (P, Av , Tv) and with different AF selection
modes (automatic all the sensors, manually the center one, with EYe) but the
problem seems to be always there. Trying and retrying with the same subject
at the end I manage to achieve (the spelling may be wrong, sorry) the AF but
this is annoying.

Has anybody experienced this problem before and what could be the cause????

@#!!@# the warranty expired three days ago.............
