Gentlemen -

Background: Camera is Elan IIe. When using a remote control
shutter release or the camera timer, the eyepiece must be covered
before the shutter is actually tripped to prevent light from entering
through the piece and effecting the exposure setting - yes???

Question: If one has set the "exposure lock", then it is not
necessary to cover the eyepiece when using a remote shutter
release as the desired exposure setting is already "locked in" (at
least for six seconds!!) and would not be altered by light entering
through the eyepiece - yes??

Will appreicate comments.

Cheers,

Bob Cain
