Hi Gang, I was digging around for Elan 7E links: http://groups.yahoo.com/group/elan7e/links when I came across the Popular photography lab test of the Elan 7E: http://popphoto.com/Camera/0601%5Fcanon%5Felan7e/canon%5Fp1.html http://popphoto.com/Camera/0601%5Fcanon%5Felan7e/canon%5Ftestresults.html shows that the "actual" AF areas can be outside of the marked AF boxes in the viewfinder! Is this new type of "AF inaccuracy" peculiar to the Elan 7E? Are any other cameras similarly affected? Is this why ECF fails just for that "shot of a lifetime" :-) Cheers Julian Loke * **** ******* *********************************************************** * For list instructions, including unsubscribe, see: * http://www.a1.nl/phomepag/markerink/eos_list.htm ***********************************************************
