Dear group,
I see a growing amount of offtopic topics and discussion that is not
taken to private mail, as it should.
Please end all the ongoing threads about film now.
This list was created to discuss EOS-equipment in particular, *not*
photography in general, not even for EOS-users. There are plenty of
alternative lists & newsgroups for that.
And I am dissapointed in those long-time members who should
have known better than to prolong these threads.
Even more so if they happen to sit in a glass house because of their
commercial position/interests....that line is by itself thin enough to not
cross it once more with prolonged & extensive offtopic discussion.
While some role models are not voluntary positions, they should
still act and behave like it.
Take it to private mail if you really have to answer offtopic
questions.
And also have respect for those with slow connections in some parts
of the world, who struggle to keep up with the volume of this list.
Dedicated lists make no sense if most of it's dedication is killed by
offtopic discussion....
