Hi John,
This is the first report I have seen of the Canon 28-200.
I used to have the old Tramron 28-200 before Canon released
their model. I look forward to the release of the new
Tamron 28-200 Model A03 with the smaller barrel.
Can you tell us if the blurry photos are shot at the 28mm
end? or the 200mm? You might need a faster shutter speed
if handholding at 200mm (e.g. 1/250 or faster).
Also, are you shooting in SERVO AF mode? This mode is
"release priority" for the first shot, then focus priority
for subsequent shots.
This means that the first shot *could* be out of focus,
but the camera will only fire the shutter when it achieves
focus for subsequent shots.
Could any of situations be possible?
Cheers
Julian Loke
