Hi!
Anyone kind enough to measure the 550EX speedlite maximum
dimensions when in the straight-up position, I mean the
position where the thickness is smallest.
I know it is 80mm wide but all other measures I have seen for
it are in the folded (thus normal shooting) position.
I'm designing interior for my camera bag where I will make a
compartment for flash. It will be approximately 85mm * 60mm
but I would like to know the exact depth requirement.
It is a question of millimeters if I can fit everything...
I don't have 550EX yet and I know my 299T is about the same
size (but not exactly).
