I use an EOS 600 with Canon 75-300mm lens + Tamron 2x teleconverter.
When I use the teleconverter, the autofocus is disabled (as I was
told and read) and the image is somewhat dimmer.
Apart from that, I think it's a great accessory that won't break the
bank.
