Hi list,
I'm planning to buy a new lens on the wideangle side shortly. I've decided I
want a zoom and can't afford L glass and now I'm down to two options: Canon
EF 20-35/3,5-4,5 and Tamron 20-40.
I've read a lot about both on the list and I know both deliver great picture
quality in their department.
I still have one question about the Tamron. Is it compatible with newer EOS
bodies? My only body at the moment is an EOS50/ElanII. Budget permitting, I
may add an EOS3 to my current outfit within a year and I want to know
whether the body will work fine with the Tamron (AF and other
functionality). Do you use the Tamron on your EOS3's? What's your
experience?
