Well, I only took a very brief look at the webpage.
Nevertheless, it seemed to me that the portraits are
nothing setup but some 'snapshots' from some place
relatively far away. A 600/4 for posed portrait would
certainly be a HUGE overkill. The 300/2.8 might be an
ok solution for a few occations. Nevertheless, if you
want to do portrait of kids and weddings by 'walking
around' then even this lens seems to be an overkill
and unpractical. I don't shot lots of portraits but
from my limited experience I would say a 70-200L with
an 28-70L on another body would be the best solution
for this kind of photography.
