Hello all, I finally found where I had read it. http://www.naturephotographers.net/je0301-2.html There is a reference to haloes appearing when looking at overhead lights I know, I don't photograph them either, but presumably it was some sort of flare. Still, if Canon are experiencing problems in curing this, then it may explain why we still can't buy one.
