After much deliberation I've ordered a 70 - 200 2.8L. This will be used for candids at weddings and when I can afford the 1.4 convertor, will replace my T90/300 4L FD combination for equestrian events. What finally made me decide on this lens rather than the 100 - 400 was the ability to throw the background out of focus at 2.8. Many thanks to everybody for their thoughts and opinions. Regards.
