Probably. I do know that Canon did update the EOS 5 firmware several
times - although I haven't seen the shake you mention I have seen
small but subtle differences between EOS 5's (and changes after
one had been serviced), e.g., one turned beeps back on whenever
batteries were replaced.
The shake probably isn't dangerous but if it bothers you, check
with nearest Canon service how much firmware upgrade would cost.
