Extrange that it will do it by itself since it requires an ambient light
reading.
Wouldn't it be the flash exposure compensation that Type-A bodies apply
when over a specific EV?
In that sense, any EX flash does it. I believe that the EOS-3 and the
EOS-1V have a CF to disable this automatic fill-in flash.
Given that the settings in the 550EX overrides that of the camera, when
doing fill-in flash I always set the value in the flash. No underexposed
surprises anymore.
Chris ([EMAIL PROTECTED]) sent once the EV table of fill-in flash
exposure compensation. I can't find it in my folders... maybe Chris can
send it back, Chris??
