I tried again Tuesday night,  using the 28-70 at around 50mm
to 70mm:

Can you spot the "happy face" in one of the photographs?

I like the exposures much better this time around,  the
"streaks" have more color and are not so washed out.

The D30 was set at f/16 (and some at f/22) with exposure
times of 5 to 10 seconds.  I also tried some shots at 20
seconds f/22,  but the results were rather grainy.
