I can imagine that tolerances can disturb you as a user. Still an accesoire
like the Angle-finder C has to fit to all camera-body's made by Canon for
the past 20 years or so. This is often not the case with other brands. This
means that the tolerances on the adapter can't be to small. Ofcourse the
tolerance between the adapter and the angelfinder can be less, because it
only has to fit to the angle-finder C.
Take also in account that Canon-development has to make decission on how far
to go with things like tolerances and the effects on the production and use
and feeling and price of the product. You can never satisfy everyone. Yes,
being a product-developer is a hard job ;-).
