The exploded view you don't want to see is the one
that appears after dropping your camera! ;-)
Although it is not specifically of a 630, there is a
cross-sectional diagram of an EOS with a flash mounted
in the cartoon demonstrating TTL flash on the Canon
museum site. It is not very detailed, unfortunately.
There are really people named "cannabis"? :-)
