Just an additional bit of information as I have had some emails from list
members who seem to think it's the colour I am concerned about:
I guess I may not have made the problem clear enough. It's not the colour
that is in question here, it's the blotchy 'digital' effect, I'm not sure of the
technical term for it. It causes also the banding in the sky. Other images
don't look like this, so I know it's not the fault of my monitor.
I have put another picture on the page, with a better example of the effect,
just not a photograph that has had any work on it. See if you can see what I
mean with this one. The previous website does not seem to be available at
