Thanks for sharing your experience on the 100-300L. I have often thought of
buying this lens also and have had some of the concerns that you mentioned,
i.e. slow focusing, build, etc.
I have the 135 2.8 softfocus and though it obviously is not super fast it is
sufficient for what I use it for and the optics are VERY DECENT.
Again thanks, I also can not yet afford the 300 4.0 and some others so I
will give this lens a look.
