I own and regularly use the Nikon 105/2.5 manual focus lens, While I
personally think dialogue about bokeh is a waste of time, my PERSONAL
opinion is that the 105/2.5's overall performance is outstanding. I have
used it for news, sports, journalism and portraiture (with & w/out soft
focus filters) under both available light & strobes and have never been
disappointed.
If I was as good behind the camera as this lens is in front of it, I could
retire on what I'd earn from you guys buying my books. :-)
