third party lenses under the names of Vivitar,
Phoenix, Samyang, and Tokina (the cheapest lower-line
lenses). If you look at lenses from these "brands" of
identical focal lengths and speeds next to each other,
the only differences I can see are the name rings out
front and the texture of the rubber grips on the focus
and zoom rings.
Anybody know any different?
