I have the older EF1.4x extender which is not actually so old.
After using it only few months I noticed the front lens cap
is quite loose but didn't pay too much attention to it.
Later I noticed that two of three locks were broken.
The very thin edge/wall on the lens side of the locking groove
was broken off. (Sorry for the bad description.)
Before I get a new one I would like to know if this is a
common problem (in which case I would try to fix the old one)
or not.
