It's comparing the differences between the 430EZ and
540EZ flashes. The middle paragraphs are the relevent
bits here - I'm expecting to find that you're using a
430EZ (or maybe a 420EZ) as it gives the A-ttl
pre-flash in bounce mode - a feature disabled with the
540EZ.
I wrote that message relating to using both flashes
with an EOS 5 (A2e) - I imagine it's much the same
with a 600.
Does that post describe your situation?
