It's the same.  When you use the FEL button for something else, you lose FEL
function.  That's why I switch to MF whenever I want to use FEL and don't
want the AF to jump around.

On a side note, does anyone else actually notice a limitation for the tilt &
swivel flash head not capable of pointing up (for celling bounce) when
holding you camera in the vertical position aiming at 45 degrees down?  How
come they were made to swivel only 270 degrees and not a full 360 degrees?
