IS works with EVERY EOS camera, but EF-M. As far as A2E (EOS 5) - it doesn't
work only when used with TCs (this applys to 100-400L IS lens - faster
lenses, like 300L IS 2.8 may be different), if your camers was sold before
fall od 1993. - from the 100-400L IS manual.
