Hey Peter...so you never got brainwashed on the LUG? !?!
Funny, since I sold all of my Leica R gear and went back to Canon EOS the
only difference I have noticed is how the cameras do not break...no matter
how much I abuse them. Now those Leica R bodies are a different
story....treat them with kid gloves and they still went to the shop twice a
year...My EOS1ns have not been to the shop now in almost three years despite
getting wet while covering news events out side in the rain, being dragged
around on the floor of my truck, lenses in a Domke bag, and other nefarious
activities. :)
Add to that every time I have dealt with CPS it has been a pleasure..can not
say the same for Leica NJ...hell I'd rather get a root cannel than ever deal
with those people again!
Oh and I forgot....I now have a D30 and LOVE it. No Leica digicams...and as
far as I can tell no digicams anywhere else for the price/quality ratio of
the D30.
