A little expansion from Andy Rouse on how he obtained the 70-200 IS:

anything I get from Canon. In fact my relationship with them these days is
non-existant and at the moment am testing the D1x. '
Now, the D1x is made by ? and it won't take his 70-200 IS, will it?
