I've tried to find an answer for this on the net, but without success so I dare ask here ;-) I have a Tokina 19-35/3.5-4.5 (77mm) I want a red filter for (Wratten 25 or 29). Do I need a super-thin filter for this lens to avoid vignetting? B&H have B+W "Extra wide" and "Slim" filters (on special order), but these are very costly and they are not even multi-coated. Would a regular (not slim) Hoya HMC (for half the price and "twice" the coating) work without producing dark corners? I've read that the Heliopan filters are in general thiner than other brands. Would a regular Heliopan filter be sufficient (by comparison: I have a B+W filter and it's definitely thicker than my Hoya HMCs)? Again, these are more expensive than the Hoyas and not multi-coated. - Marius * **** ******* *********************************************************** * For list instructions, including unsubscribe, see: * http://www.a1.nl/phomepag/markerink/eos_list.htm ***********************************************************
