Unfortunately, the differences in lens resolution are all
near or even beyond the limit of the resolution of the D30,
making this very comparision basically useless. After all
as good as the D30 is, it is just 3MP. I like the method,
though.
I would like to see this same test done with TechPan (B&W)
and/or Velvia / Provia F (color slide) and compare those
results. Perhaps even scan an enlarged section (scanned
at full optical resolution, not just resized in Photoshop)
of just the 2, 1.5, 1, and below line pairs.
