Hi all,
Just another "gift" from Canon. The macro flash TWIN LITE MT-24EX.
It looks great in paper, but who in this Earth is going to pay $1000 for
a twin flash of GN 22 (when both are used, ISO 100, mtrs) when for the
same money you can buy two 550ex (gn 55, ISO 100, mtrs, zoom 105mm), a
flash bracket and you still have spare money for the NiMH batteries +
charger. ??? And who's going to use it for something else than macro,
since being placed so close from the lens axis, will create the most
wonderful red-eye effects ever seen.
Crazy prices!!! (has somebody seen the price of the 400f4 DO. about
$8520 ... jejeje... a new car maybe?? Doesn't the 600f4 L costs the
same?)
I think there will be a newspaper headline saying "Trastorned by new
Canon technology, amateur photographer robs bank and get caught in
picture" :-) :-)
