All of us know the performance of L lenses when using film. Is their outstanding resolution fully exploited using 3MP or 4MP digital bodies? Is there any noticeable difference between using 28-70 2.0 L and 28-135 3.5-5.6 IS on a digital body on the resolution side, or 28-135 minimum resolution is narrower than the pixel size?
Of course there're other benefits from using L lenses (color rendition, etc.). But i wander how many of them are fully exploited when using current digital bodies.
