Hi Malcolm, I'll take that as a challenge :-) Your Cobra 700AF unit http://www.jessops.com/images/products/cob700afca.jpg is probably a rebadged Achiever 630AF http://achiever-hk.com/flash/auto.html with matching 600AF Handle grip: http://achiever-hk.com/flash/handle.html Mine still works (barely), but is in poor condition. It lasted about 5 years before it became so wobbly that it was unusable. The EOS dedication unit does not have a locking pin, and the flash would often slide out just enough to prevent misfiring :-( No wonder Canon added the locking pin to the hotshoe in the 430EZ and the Off-Camera-Shoe-Cord 2!
