In very good condition, this is a reasonable price. This lens is quite sharp
and contrasty and slides look more like an L lens than a moderately priced
consumer zoom. A couple of other considerations. The lens rotates during
focusing and depending on the focal length the inner barrel retreats into the
outer barrel... at the least on the I version. This is awkward for use with a
polarizer. Check to be sure the iris is functioning and the AF works.
Overall, a nice compact optic with better than average performance.
