Thanks Miha, although several others have already replied to me off list. Most of my "problems" have been due to using the 8000 dpi option in Silverfast. This results in the bloated file sizes (210MB) that eat up so very much storage space. Using 4000 dpi and LZW compression with the SS4000 have made life much easier! Thanks to the others that have replied too. DVD is still too pricey for me. Maybe in a year or two.
