Hello Swades, The EOS 66 is more advanced than the 88 (also known as the EOS 3000) and is less advanced than the EOS 300.
For exact details as to what you can expect, check out the Canon Camera Museum at http://Canon.co.jp . I would recommend going for the EOS 66 if price is a consideration, otherwise the EOS 300. The EOS 88 doesn't have E-TTL, which is something you'll miss when you go in for an external flash (and eventually you will). Are you planning to buy the Camera in India? Where will you be buying the camera from (i.e. city, place)?
