Hi, I've been playing with my Christmas EOS30. I had big doubt on whether it was going to be a real upgrade from my EOS50, but after just 1 day and 3 films I'm very happy with it. The selection of the focusing point with the quick access control on the back is really intuitive, especially since I activated the CF11 to directly select the active focus point. The controls are responsive, although the Eye-control selector is a bit difficult to turn with one finger. AF seems faster than with the -50, but I miss the IR assist light fow low light situations, where the -30 doesn't perform too good. I still have to send the slides to the lab to see what it can do in terms of light metering and E-TTL flash... I'll write back ;-)
