Gerard, Not used this lens myself but a discerning friend has.
I am told it has severe barrel distortion at 19, still noticeable at 35. Resolution wide open is poor in the corners but very good in the centre, improving as you stop down, as you would expect. Contrast is very good even wide open. Very prone to flare. May not be compatible with newer EOSs. This is no 16-35 but if its in good condition and working properly at that price it's got to be worth a try. :8) Let us know what transpires. Regards Craig Z PS: EOS Mag article on FP flash excellent and easy to understand, especially with the spinning disk to illustrate. Congrats. ----- Original Message ----- From: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: "Eos" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Sent: Wednesday, January 02, 2002 7:41 PM Subject: EOS Cosina 19-35 URGENT! > Hi all, > > Today I saw a used Cosina 19-35 (f/???) very very cheap (EUR123/about > $110) in a local store.
