I own Sekonics, had Minolta Autometers and used Gossen.
None will measure E-TTL since the preflash triggers the meter and
that is the reading you get. It is a well known fact that even 
when using standard TTL (say on a Bronica, Canon A-TTL, et al) 
the meter will give a different reading. Minolta's read under, 
sekonics over. It has to do with the speed at which the TTL 
squelches the flash.  If you use the camera with its standard 
X-sync connector and have the flash set for the correct output
then the meters will read correctly since the light is controlled 
by the flash as opposed to the more advanced TTL circuitry.
It drove me nuts for a while until I learned to trust the TTL 
circuitry.
