That's great, I was looking for something like this. Thanks. I've been watching this thread with great interest, having just bought - awaiting delivery - an L-508. Mostly for the incident/spot functions, but I do want to learn about studio flash. Interestingly, the person who is selling this barely-used meter is selling it because, according to him, he couldn't use it with pre-flash! I shoot both EOS (Elan 7) and FD (A-1 and FTbN) system, so I'm sure I'll be able to make use of this meter.
