I have a description of my experience with the Kenko extension tubes here:
http://www.northrup.org/equipment/extension.htm Most of the time I use them with the 28-135IS. If I'm not using a tripod, which I really should be, the image stabilization helps by allowing me to close the aperture down a few more steps. I almost always manually focus. Here are a couple of hand-held closeups taken with that combination: http://www.northrup.org/photos/Sammy/nh-10.htm http://www.northrup.org/photos/Sammy/nh-6.htm Tony * **** ******* *********************************************************** * For list instructions, including unsubscribe, see: * http://www.a1.nl/phomepag/markerink/eos_list.htm ***********************************************************
