My EOS 50 self timer does not work. When I activate the self timer, the self timer icon appears on the LCD panel, but when I release the shutter, it shoots instantaneously and not after 10 seconds as it should be. What can be wrong? Will RC-1 remote (I planned to buy one) work if the self timer does not function?
