If you can't find a replacement ET-83 hood, consider using the EW-83B hood (standard with the EF 28-70/2.8L lens). It is *very* close in shape and size and does mount on the 70-200/2.8 lens. In fact when using my smaller bag, I bring only 1 hood - either one, as I've never noticed any vignetting.
