Now, it would be great to see the Canon and Sigma compared at f2.8 (Canon full open and Sigma stopped down 1+ stops), wouldn't it? But even if there are these shortcomings I have use for the extra stop the Sigma has. I have also the EF24/2.8 if I need smaller size/weight (and a Canon lens...).
