I also just got the Kenko 1.4X 300 Pro, selected because of sound advice from this list, Thank You. It works on my old 80-200 2.8L, 50 1.4, and 100 2.8 Macro USM. All auto focus, but the 100 2.8 Macro USM is not supposed to. Be warned though, according to the documentation that came with the converter, lenses with 7 pins will show the actual F-number of the lens, and lenses with 10 pins will show the total of the lens and teleconverter. When I use this with my D30, it confirms this.
