Hello Pablo, There is no need to carry a light to read the top panel. The Elan 7E has a lot of viewfinder information. From the Canon website: http://www.elan7.com the following list appears: (from left to right) Eye Controlled Focus indicator (ELAN 7E / 7E Date only); AE Lock / FE Lock symbol; flash ready signal; High- Speed Sync in use signal; flash exposure compensation indicator; shutter speed and aperture indicating LEDs also present DEP 1 / DEP 2 information, Calibration (Cal 1 to 5, END-1 to 3); Exposure compensation scale / manual metering scale, Red- Eye Reduction lamp on / reduction progress indicator; in-focus indicator Unfortunately, there is no viewfinder display for your bank account balance $-) Cheers Julian Loke P.S. For more specific information including technical links, consult the Elan 7E group, especially the links: http://yahoogroups.com/group/elan7e http://yahoogroups.com/links/elan7e * **** ******* *********************************************************** * For list instructions, including unsubscribe, see: * http://www.a1.nl/phomepag/markerink/eos_list.htm ***********************************************************
