Hi! You don't need to test at all appertures that you stated. Just test @ wide open, f/8 and f/22. The target should both black and white (with crossing lines) and color squares, where you see color abberation and compare contrast. For the film, use neutral slide film, not a highly saturated one (Kodak VS or similar).
