Hi all: I tried several more tests with the lens. Here are some more observations:
1. The jitter occur both EOS 3 and 5 during vertical focusing with IS. This is when the IS is off after focusing an object. It's about 3 secs after pressing the shutter half way. 2. Only very slight (v. close to no) jitter can be seen if it is at horizontal position. 3. No jitter for both models at both vertical and horizontal positions without IS. My conclusion is that the jitter is caused by the IS at "ON" position. But the real question is this normal or not? Thanks again.
