Hi Kim,

I use the Angle Finder B on my Elan 7E. It does work but you will need an
Adapter Ed II to clip onto the viewfinder in place of the eyecup.

With the AFB, there is no ECF (just like with the AFC). My AFB does not have
click-stops at 90 degree or 45 degree settings either, nor does it have
magnification (like with the AFC). I fix that by resting the loupe part of
the Magnifier S (without the Adapter R or Adapter S) on the top of the AFB.

Same magnification as the AFC, but less convenient. However, I can always
use the Magnifier S directly on the Elan 7E (unfortunately but not using the
Swing-up Adapter S :-(

If the Adapter EdII were not so pricey ($CAD25), I would probably get
another one. But I'm saving up for a D60 :-)
