Thinking of buying this for use with my EOS 300. Anyone heard anything about software problems with any of the new EOS bodies and this lens? How does it quality at around 28mm compare with the 28mm of the 28-105. I know that end of the 28-105 isn't overly impressive (bit I'm mostly buying this lens for the 19mm end anyway).
Anyone know of a better price in Australia than $460AUD? As a side note, anyone got this lens and some sample photos somewhere on the net? How good it is for 'near-far' type photos (ie making a matchbox look like a skyscraper ...). Can you stand in a corner of a room and get the whole room in a single shot at 19mm?
